For Urban Partners, managing financial project controlling across an expanding Northern European portfolio demands precision, flexibility and construction-native depth. Quarterly budgeting produced hundreds of individual Excel files, making version control, historical tracking and cross-portfolio reporting a time-consuming challenge. In 2022, Urban Partners implemented Bauwise as an autonomous system for centralized financial project controlling. Bauwise provided the flexibility to fit Urban Partners’ existing cost-control framework and accommodate the complexity of CAPEX-heavy developments — while maintaining continuity in project financial control, even as accounting sources changed over time. Confirmed versions could then support reporting, valuation and downstream data processes.
